Blogging In Education Essay

Blogging is beneficial to education. It benefits education by enhancing and encouraging students on writing and reading. It is helpful to schools because it is accessible anywhere and helps having an easy communication with students and parents. Using blogging in schools can help teachers and students as well. Blogging in schools helps them by having a connection with each other through their own ideas.

Blogging benefits education by enhancing student's literacy skills. Having the opportunity for students to express their own ideas and opinions encourages pride within their own writing. As students blog, they intend to practice both their reading and writing skills which enables them to improve by themselves. It boosts their confidence and gives them motivation to participate with the whole class. Blogging also allows students to be more creative and think outside the box. Students are able to share their own ideas with each other which makes blogging a new place to find and learn new ideas from fellow schoolmates.

Having easy access and keeping parents and students informed is definitely one of the many benefits of blogging. Both students and parents are able to track learning progresses through time. Parents have access in order to know different assignments, expectations, and homeworks of their child. They can also interact with their child's teachers and send them feedbacks or even questions pertaining to their child's grades, lessons, and even with their child's behavior and progress in class. Students are able to do these as well in order to interact with their teachers. Also, parents are to be more involved with their child's education which is a very good way for parents and students to bond.

Blogging does not only benefit students and parents, but it also benefits teachers. Teachers are able to connect and meet with their students. It allows them to save time during class while collecting student's work. Students can easily do their work at home and this also helps our environment from wasting paper. Students are motivated to participate in class discussions by posting in blogs which helps teachers interact with every student and get to every student's opinion about a particular topic. Through blogging, students and teachers are able to communicate and collaborate with each other.

In all, blogging has a lot of benefits to education. It benefits students, teachers, and parents as well. Enhancing student's reading and writing skills encourages them to have pride within their own writing. Blogging is like a practice for them in order to perfect their grammar and vocabulary skills. The benefit of accessibility creates a whole new world for schools. Easier communication helps schools intouch with parents, teachers, and students. Lastly, teachers and students benefit from blogging through different kinds of work which can even help our environment. Communicating and collaborating amongst parents, teachers, and most especially to students.
